Class Privilege Caucus

Caucus? What do you mean!?

In movement work, we frequently meet in affinity groups, or caucus, to speak openly and be held accountable by people who share our experience. This group provides an opportunity for those of us with wealth to combat isolation, build relationships, and move closer to collective action!

Class Privilege Caucus meets monthly from Sept-May and costs $180 as a one-time registration fee. The caucus will only run if there are at least six registrants. It’s a low-pressure inter-generational space for self-identified people with class privilege working through common feelings like isolation, shame, guilt, pride, confusion, and uncertainty. The group’s focus is on sharing and witnessing experiences and related emotions. Participants are encouraged to share as much as they are comfortable with and attend as often as they like. The caucus group is inclusive of anyone who identifies as a person with class privilege.

Meetings are on the third Thursday of the month.
